Bio
Coach David Stanton is entering his fourth season as Head Volleyball Coach at San José City College. He began his career at San Benito High School and later served as a volunteer assistant at San José State, contributing to the program’s record-setting beach season in 2020 and 21-win indoor season in 2022 while earning his master’s in Exercise Physiology. Stanton has also coached with Vision Volleyball Club, Mandala Beach Volleyball Club, and the SJSU Women’s Club team. A Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, he is committed to developing high-performance athletes and fostering a positive, competitive culture.
